DESIGN STORY
 
The Neko Shogun in Red Armour T-Shirt is a tribute to the Japanese warrior spirit, inspired by Tokugawa Tsunayoshi, who fervently advocated for compassion towards all animals through his practice of "shōwa no rei" (acts of compassion). This concept resonates deeply in today’s discussions around kindness and anti-bullying, particularly in relation to animal welfare.
 
By featuring a cat donning striking red armour, reminiscent of the traditional attire of a shogun, it embodies strength and protection. This choice not only highlights the historical significance of the shogunate but also symbolizes the role of guardianship over the vulnerable in society.
 
In line with Sep10th’s signature style, the shirt boasts four unique prints: one on the front, additional designs on the back, and prints adorning both the right and left sleeves. This cohesive design enhances its artistic appeal while delivering a meaningful message about kindness and protection.
